For a class on film, they asked us to make a list of our top 10 comedy movies. We had to make a list of our favorites and also wrote a little but about why each one was on our list. I went home from class, and I wasn’t sure which flicks to put on my list. I had so many favorites that I knew my list would be longer than ten. But then as I started to write them down, and as I was thinking about why I liked them, I was able to start eliminating some. Because for some, I could really write a good paragraph about why I liked them, and then for some, I knew that I liked them, but I couldn’t really write about a good explanation. So as I was working my way through the list, I was really able to limit my list and was able to find my top ten.
